The Downtown Development Authority through both the combined efforts of public/private partnerships and the adoption of the principles of the State of Georgia's Main Street and Better Hometown programs will preserve and market Trenton's downtown area as a community treasure by:

• Focusing on historic preservation,
• Attracting economic investment, and
• Developing heritage tourism.
